Private Residence • Battersea Park, London
Completed, 2024
The residence, a 98-year-old apartment rich with history, required a complete reimagining. We approached the refurbishment as a full-scale reinvention, reshaping the entire layout to create better flow, clarity, and light. Walls were repositioned, volumes were opened, and spaces were recalibrated to bring a sense of ease and expansiveness that the original plan had never allowed.
Our design direction centred on a soft, natural palette — gentle earthy tones, warm neutrals, and textures that felt calm and understated. The intention was clear: to let the apartment’s most remarkable feature take its rightful place as the focal point — the uninterrupted, cinematic view across Battersea Park’s canopy of green. Every space was composed to frame the landscape beyond the windows, turning the park into a living artwork that shifted with the seasons.
The result was a home that felt both fresh and deeply grounded, honouring the heritage of the building while offering a modern sense of luxury and brightness. Delivered and sold in 2021, the apartment achieved a record price on the street — a testament to the transformation and a project we remain incredibly proud of.
