Perched on the top floor of Pond House, this apartment holds one of Chelsea’s quietest luxuries: a sweeping balcony over St Luke’s gardens, where morning birdsong and open light make it feel almost suspended above the city.

Despite the exceptional setting, the apartment itself had grown tired and dated, in need of a complete renewal to match the view beyond its windows. Our vision was to bring airiness, clarity, and calm into the space, centred on lightness in both palette and flow, letting the natural brightness of the top-floor vantage point become the home’s defining feature.

Oak flooring now runs throughout, its soft grain and warm tone grounding the interiors while keeping things clean and contemporary. We simplified the architectural lines to bring order and refinement, so the layout feels intentional and easy. The colour scheme draws from the surroundings: a natural, understated palette layered with gentle neutrals, lifted by subtle touches of blue that echo the sky from the balcony. Interior and exterior stay in conversation, a home in step with the light and views it receives each day.

The result is a calm, modern sanctuary in one of Chelsea’s most charming corners, refreshed and ready to meet its landscape with real clarity.
