Townhouse, Private Residence • Battersea, London
Completed, 2024
The house had been converted from three flats into one, and an earlier refurbishment left the layout disjointed. We started again, rethinking the structure around how a family actually lives.
The ground floor is now one generous entertaining level, built around a contemporary kitchen and living space that opens to both a front and back garden, blurring the line between in and out. The first floor belongs entirely to the parents: a bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, and a small evening sitting room for quiet moments. Upstairs, four bedrooms serve daily family life: two children’s rooms full of light, a calm guest room, and a home office overlooking the neighbouring gardens.
Throughout, pale natural materials and soft, sculpted forms set the tone. Warm colour, gentle texture, and careful craftsmanship give the interiors their quiet sense of harmony, a home that now flows, floor to floor, with real ease.
