Apartment, Private Residence • Chelsea, London
Completed, 2024
Despite its exceptional setting, the apartment itself had grown worn, tired, and dated — in need of a complete renewal to match the beauty just beyond its windows.
Our vision for the refurbishment was to bring a sense of airiness, clarity, and modern calm into the space. The design centres around lightness — both in palette and in flow — allowing the natural brightness of the top-floor vantage point to become the defining feature of the home.
Sleek oak flooring now runs seamlessly throughout the apartment, its soft grain and warm tone grounding the interiors while keeping the aesthetic clean and contemporary. Architectural lines were simplified to bring order and refinement, creating a layout that feels intentional, open, and effortlessly organised.
The colour scheme draws from the apartment’s surroundings: a natural, understated palette layered with gentle neutrals, elevated by subtle touches of blue that echo the expansive sky visible from the balcony. This connection between interior and exterior creates a serene continuity — a home that feels harmonised with the light and views it receives each day.
The result is a calm, modern sanctuary in one of Chelsea’s most charming corners — refreshed, refined, and ready to embrace its landscape with newfound clarity and elegance.
